Plant silica, two ways

It’s a plant-available silica soil amendment made from Ontario wollastonite (a natural calcium-silicate mineral). We offer it as a liquid concentrate you spray or drench, and as a granular amendment you work into soil.

Silicon is a beneficial element: plants deposit it in their tissues, which supports sturdier structure and helps them cope with stresses like drought. Silifolia simply makes that silicon — and the calcium alongside it — easy to add.

Wollastonite is a natural mineral, and our products are sold in compliance with Canada’s fertilizer regulations, with the guaranteed analysis on the label. We don’t claim organic certification unless a specific product is certified — ask us about the current status.

It depends on your crop, soil and goal. The liquid dilutes to roughly 1–2 mL per litre of water; granular field rates come from a soil test (it behaves much like ag-lime at a slightly higher rate). Tell us your situation and we’ll suggest a rate for free.
